In 2014, in line with the needs of the educational institution he was working for, Cengiz Berkün stepped into stage production, utilizing the experience gained from his deep-rooted background in music and dance. He developed his skills in arranging and presenting performing arts products from various disciplines—such as choirs, solo performances, dances, and various stage shows—in the most fluent way to the audience. At the same time, he gained significant competence in stage lighting and backdrop design.
After receiving private training on LED screen video design from the stage manager at Zorlu PSM, he took on the role of Art Director for the highly acclaimed "Art Nights" (Sanat Geceleri) held at Zorlu PSM for 6 years.
In 2020, he decided to continue his career at a new institution (MEF Schools). Adapting quickly to the "video show" format that emerged with the pandemic's impact on the performing arts, he personally directed the filming of multi-choir, dance, drama, and interview contents. By focusing on Adobe Premiere Pro during the editing phase, he realized professional video productions and also broadcasted successful live streams on YouTube and Instagram during the same period.
For the past 5 years, he has been managing the filming and editing processes of all ceremony, commercial, and show videos for his current institution, constantly renewing and improving his vision in this field. He continues his duties successfully with the title of **Performing Arts Coordinator** in live shows and stage presentations.
In addition to all these stage and production works, he organizes comprehensive events—such as art days, talks with famous guests, concerts, stage performances, and drama activities for students and parents—contributing to the integration of society with art. In these organizations, Cengiz Berkün meticulously oversees every step of the process, from artist communication and hospitality to the stage performance and the finale of the event.
